Sarah & Joseph’s Indy Favorites

Below, we’ve shared some of our very favorite restaurants, bars, and attractions.

Click here for lots more suggestions!

Eating

Canal Bistro ($$)

Delicious, fresh Mediterranean food with outdoor seating overlooking the canal. We always start with the Mazza Plate!

Cholita Taqueria ($$)

Joseph’s tried every taco joint in Indy, and this one’s his favorite. Sarah’s obsessed with the brussel sprout tacos!

Hedge Row ($$$)

We celebrated our engagement with dinner here and ordered just about every dish on the menu! Elevated American food in a prime location.

Mesh ($$$$)

This is our go-to fancy occasion spot. (Sarah celebrated her 30th birthday here…twice!) Mesh serves locally-sourced, innovative dishes.

Drinking

Brothers Bar & Grill ($)

Your quintessential sports bar, with lines out the door on summer evenings.

Flatwater ($)

Live music, cheap drinks, and plenty of seating on the water. Indy’s best summer hang.

Sun King Brewing ($$)

Try a couple beers from one of Indy’s local breweries. Our faves are the Pachanga & Keller Haze.

HopCat ($$)

Picky? This pub has 150 beers on tap! Don’t miss an opportunity to try the Cosmik Fries.
